‘Super Human’ is the debut single from Fe Salomon. It’s a huge track that shows off everything this artist has to offer in less than four minutes. There is a swagger to her music, whether it’s the subtly building beats or cheeky brass interjections, or her powerful voice that takes influence from the likes of Stevie Nicks and Alison Goldfrapp. “It originated with dancing around with some upper body shimmy moves,” she explains. “Then a chunky brass section, dirty synth and disjunctive rhythms, all inspired by a number 70s and 80s movie soundtracks.” Her debut album, Living Rooms, is going to be released later this year. -Dan Peeke
